The Leadership for Health African First Ladies Health Summit consists of a two-day conference focused on professional leadership development, education, and awareness-raising, and a Gala evening event and fundraiser. It will include a full day of workshops conducted in partnership with Vital Voices and in compliance with the UN Millennium Development goals, as well as other workshops and discussions focused on maternal health, as well as girls' education and HIV/AIDS. In the months preceding the Summit, participating First Ladies will advise the USDFA-Synergy team on priorities and objectives related to their respective areas of expertise. Conference participation is by invitation-only.
